Psychological Processes in Health and Illness

Investigating how psychological processes are implicated in the prevention, development, and treatment of physical conditions is one of our strongest lines of research.

Members of staff in this group work in specialist areas such as behavioural interventions for pulmonary conditions and arthritis, the use of e-health in removing health barriers, children's eating behaviours, and behaviour change in diabetes.

Staff members have been involved in collaborative projects receiving significant funding from the National Institute for Health Research, Health Education England, Cambridgeshire Community Care Services and Keech Hospice Care.
