Kevin Wyld
Senior Lecturer in Physiology
After serving in the Army and then as a Physical Education Officer for the Home Office, I gained my undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise Science BSc from De Montfort University (2006). Then subsequently completed a MSc (by research) in 2011 at the University of Bedfordshire.
I am also a BASES accredited Exercise Practitioner. I also work in the private industry for Optimum Healthcare Solutions as Head of its Elite & Fitness Divisions.

Research Interests
- Exercise for Special Populations
- Exercise and health with research interests in diabetes, obesity and cardiology
- Other research interests are strength training including the combination of traditional exercise done in conjunction with plyometrics
