Safer Young Lives is part of the Institute of Applied Social Research
UNESCO Network: Preventing Sexual Violence Against Children
The Safer Young Lives Research Centre is taking a lead in developing a UNESCO network of academics, practitioners and policy makers working to prevent sexual violence against children.
Professor Jenny Pearce has been appointed as a research associate with the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, NUI Galway, Ireland to link the work of the International Centre and the Child and Family Research Centre NUI.
The longer term aim is to create a network of international initiatives preventing sexual violence against children.
