With almost 3 billion active users, over 200 platforms, and 12 new accounts every second, the social media landscape has never been more vibrant.
Develop EBP, a non-profit organisation that delivers a range of training and educational programmes across the East of England, worked with the University to review their social media activity, and integrate it into their core marketing strategy.
Having worked with over 150,000 learners and 10,000 companies across the last twenty years, Develop EBP understood the need to effectively engage with their key stakeholders and make the most of their brand’s digital equity.
Dr Markus Haag, senior lecturer in Business Systems, analysed their social media strategy and advised to concentrate their digital marketing efforts in a few platforms, rather than as many as possible. Dr Haag recommended bi-directional engagement with learners, companies and schools, to create meaningful interactions.
Develop EBP are implementing the social media action plan designed by Dr Haag. Not only will the plan deliver a coherent integrated brand message, it will also help Develop to expand their market share and acquire new business opportunities.
