The Statistics and Epidemiology group is part of the Institute for Health Research, focusing on the application of methodology for the evaluation of health interventions and chronic disease epidemiology.
Particular interests of the group include the design and analysis of observational studies and clinical trials, life-course epidemiology of chronic disease epidemiology, systematic review and meta-analysis.
We contribute to the MSc Public Health Programme, teaching Epidemiology in Public Health, Public Health Intelligence and Evidence-based Public Health, and provide support to NHS researchers.
We also collaborate with other researchers within the UK and other developing countries, such as China.
