Please find our fees and scholarships information for EU (non-UK domiciled) students below.

Fees for EU (non-UK domiciled) students 2017 - 2018

  • The Full time undergraduate tuition fee is £9,250. You can also apply for a tuition fee loan. You can read more about our guarantee of fee loan finance for 17/18 EU students, here. We offer a generous package of scholarships and bursaries. Please see the table under the heading "Scholarships for EU undergraduate students" below for scholarship details.
  • The Part-time undergraduate tuition fee is charged pro rata to £6,160. A 30 credit unit therefore costs £1,540. 120 credits are required to complete each stage of an undergraduate course. A stage is the equivalent of one year of full time study. Tuition fee loans may be available for part-time study.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be an EU student who...

  • is not domiciled in the UK.
  • has not applied for an NHS-funded course.
  • has applied for a full time BA/BSc/BEd/BEng degree.
  • is a new entrant to the University of Bedfordshire for the 2017/18 academic year.
  • can provide copies of the relevant qualification as evidence.

EU Bedfordshire Merit Scholarship - 112 UCAS Tariff points (or equivalent) or more

If you have scored the equivalent of 112 UCAS Tariff points (280 Tariff points in the old system) or more (in the qualification you use to gain entry to the University of Bedfordshire), you will receive the total sum of £800 per year. Therefore, if you join us in Year 1, you will receive a total of £2,400 during your studies with us.

EU Bedfordshire Scholarship - Less than 112 UCAS Tariff points (or equivalent)

If you have scored less than the equivalent of 112 UCAS Tariff points (280 Tariff points in the old system) (in the qualification you use to gain entry to the University of Bedfordshire), you will receive the total sum of £500 per year. Therefore, if you join us in Year 1, you will receive a total of £1,500 during your studies with us.

Advanced Level Entry

If you join year 2 or 3 of a degree programme, you will receive the total sum of £500 per year (subject to progressing to the next year of study).

Foundation Year

If you join a degree with Foundation Year programme, you will receive the total sum of £500 per year for each of the 4 years of the degree (subject to progressing to the next year of study). Therefore, you will receive a total of £2,000 during your studies with us.

How your scholarship will be paid

The scholarship will be paid in in three instalments during the academic year, for every year of study for a maximum of 3 years (4 years for courses with a Foundation Year) and subject to progressing to the next year of study. This will be paid in cash and you will be able to use the money as you wish.

  • The initial Welcome Package cash payment will be made by cheque.
  • Subsequent payments will be made into the student's bank account if the University has these details. Otherwise a cheque payment will be made.
  • Students that receive the £350 cash Welcome Package are not entitled to also receive the £300 My Beds Money Card credit and £50 print credit Welcome Package.
