International students who refer a friend to the University of Bedfordshire have the opportunity to be rewarded with £500 for each successful referral.
The University’s ‘Introduce a Friend’ scheme offers students the opportunity to become ambassadors by introducing their friends and family to study at Bedfordshire.
The scheme which has seen 74 students register from 14 different countries, including Nigeria, India, China and Pakistan, recently gave out three £500 cheques for successful referrals.
Orobosa Ohenhen, who received one of the £500 cheques said: “I found the Introduce A Friend scheme very appropriate and a brilliant initiative. It gives students the opportunity to make money by introducing their loved ones and friends to benefit from the various programmes and scholarships offered by the institution.”
“I was delighted to receive a cheque for £500 from the University.”
The scheme will assist the University in its important task of internationalisation, by recruiting students from around the world.
International students bring huge economic value to our region as well as enriching the learning experience for our home students.
