Latin America

Diana Arteaga, MBA Marketing (Columbia)

In Latin America, academia always promotes team work. However, in the UK there is a strong focus on individual work. At the beginning it was difficult, but it showed me that I can do brilliant work by myself.

Hangping Dai, MSc International Business (China)

Hangping Dai

I chose to study this course in order to understand how to make a business plan, learn research skills and how to work in a company. It helps me to learn different business industries. Case study analysis is useful, and also communication skills have helped me to be more confident and brave to solve problems.

Yao Songyan, BSc (Hons) Business Administration (Top up) (China)

My favourite thing about the University is that I can make a lot of friends who are from all over the world and learn many new things from them. I can also improve my English. I have gained lots of knowledge about Business. Now I can analyse things about my parents' company, such as its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. In the future I would like to go to Japan, maybe to study or work in the music business.

Europe

Adrian Kotlarz, BA (Hons) Photography & Video Art (Poland)

I have been living in Luton for about nine years and I treat this town as my second home. The best thing about my course is having the opportunity to directly communicate and collaborate with people from different specialisations like Design, Fine-Art, Animation, Fashion and so on.

Adrian Kotlarz, BA (Hons) Photography & Video Art

Anne Nijhuis, MA Intercultural Communications (Netherlands) Graduated in 2016

Anne Nijhuis

This course spoke to me. I studied Tourism and Recreation Management and there was a little bit of tourism in this course as well, which I really liked. The teachers were very helpful and understanding. I was able to improve my English language skills as well as my overall communication skills from having to write many essays and papers. What I liked was that we did not have any written exams. I prefer presentations and essays/papers as they give the opportunity to really show what was learned.

Anne Nijhuis, MA Intercultural Communications

Tatyana Mastrafchieva, BSc (Hons) International Finance & Banking (Bulgaria)

I liked all group tasks in the first year because I had the possibility to meet and work with very different characters. Our tutors are all reliable and give us the support we need. I have learned not to be afraid to express my own opinion, to be more self-confident. The best thing about my course is how all units are linked with practical examples. Everything corresponds to the real economy.

Tatyana Mastrafchieva, BSc (Hons) International Finance & Banking

Emilia Zychlinska, BA (Hons) Photographic Practices (Poland)

Studying here at Bedfordshire has helped me to improve my current skills of teamwork, research skills and allowed me to learn how to produce written analysis along with practical work during my course which will be undoubtedly beneficial for communicating with my clients such as managers and models in and outside of the studio.
