Summer School 2024
The Summer School is an ideal opportunity for you to sample university life in England and improve your English. Summer School is a three week course running in July (exact dates to be confirmed). Classes are three hours a day from Monday to Friday. There is a social programme of trips and social activities available, for students to experience life in the UK. Please check our website below for a sample timetable.
General English: Learn English to communicate in everyday situations
On the course, you will:
- Practice speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Improve your grammar and pronunciation
- Build your vocabulary
- Explore university facilities and resources (library, computer labs, radio lab)
Classes will be a maximum of 25 students.
The University is committed to equal opportunities in its admissions. All applications are considered on individual academic merit, occasionally the University admits students who are under the age of 18.
- You should have an intermediate level of English to benefit most from the course
- Price: £3000 (including course fees, accommodation, food and two day-trips)
