General Information for Summer School Students
Welcome to the University of Bedfordshire International Summer School at Luton campus.
This is an opportunity for you to study in English, gain internationally recognised credits, make new friends from around the world, and also enjoy a great social life.

The University of Bedfordshire, Luton campus
The town of Luton has a population of around 200,000. It is located in southern England, 50 km north of London.
There are excellent links to the main London airports of Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted, and Luton has its own international airport with low-cost flights to many European destinations with www.easyjet.com, www.ryanair.com, www.monarch.co.uk , www.wizzair.com and other airlines.
Luton is an industrial town, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Chiltern Hills, which includes Whipsnade Zoo and Woburn Safari Park amongst its many attractions. Within easy reach are the historic towns of Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick and Stratford on Avon, and London is only 30 minutes away by train.
The University is a state-funded university, located in the centre of the town centre next to a large indoor shopping mall which contains a wide range of shops and an indoor market.
There is a large leisure complex next to the shopping mall, with numerous student pubs and clubs clustered around the town centre.
There are around 8,000 full time students at the University's Luton campus, of whom over 1500 are international students.
The University has an established reputation for the quality of its course provision, and is one of the leading universities in the UK for graduate employment.
