If there’s something you've always wanted to know about food or cooking but didn't know who to ask, then join the University of Bedfordshire as we play host to BBC Radio 4’s culinary panel programme The Kitchen Cabinet.

Filled with good-humoured conversation about cooking and eating and hosted by Jay Rayner, the witty, fast-moving and irreverent programme is packed full of information for the home-cook. You will have the opportunity to ask the panel of experts your questions on anything and everything to do with food and drink.

Joining presenter and food critic Jay, will be:

  • Rachel McCormack – the Glaswegian cook who is also an expert on Catalan cooking
  • Henry Dimbleby – cook, writer and co-founder of Leon restaurants
  • Professor Peter Barham – food scientist
  • Tim Hayward – writer and DIY food adventurer

The University’s Theatre at the Bedford campus will open its doors to the public recording on Tuesday 22 July at 6pm with the event anticipated to finish around 8.30pm.

Tickets are free with no age restrictions (although under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Tickets are limited to four per request.

You can apply for tickets by visiting: www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/tickets
