The University has set up an advice line for international students who have questions relating to their Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) or their visas.

The number is: +44 (0)1582 489322 and it is open from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

The Minister for Immigration and Security made a statement in Parliament on 24 June 2014, regarding investigations into English language testing at a private firm. The Minister announced that the University of Bedfordshire would not be allowed to sponsor new students pending further investigation by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

We are assisting UKVI on this issue as we take our immigration compliance responsibilities extremely seriously.

The University’s licence to recruit remains intact and has not been suspended. Our issuing of CAS letters is currently paused.  We are confident we will demonstrate the robustness of our procedures to the UKVI when they visit next week.  We expect the situation regarding CAS letters to be resolved soon.

Students holding a current visa are not affected and should carry on with their studies.
