Students are set to benefit from a book co-authored by the University of Bedfordshire’s Senior Lecturer of Marketing.

Marketing Communications contributed to by Barbara Czarnecka and published by Routledge in August, focuses on turning ‘theory into the right integrated communication plan’.

Described as ‘holistic’ by Dr Natalia Yannopoulou of Newcastle University Business School, the textbook is aimed at students and professionals in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations.

Barbara, who wrote the book alongside Lynne Eagle, Jenny Lloyd and graduate of the University (when called the University of Luton) Stephan Dahl, said:

“Students would benefit from the different case studies and the combination of theory and practical examples used in the textbook.

“The material in the book will assist the studies of Marketing students at the University, demonstrating our focus on experience in the field alongside academic teaching.”

Jo Bates, Lecturer at University College Birmingham, reviewing the book, added:

“Students and industry professionals can benefit from the practical approach of the book, and its supporting real life industry case studies, while also facing the ethical issues that surround social media.”
