Young people got the chance to get dressed up in graduation gear and meet Bruno the Bull, when the University of Bedfordshire moved down to Luton’s The Mall, last Friday and Saturday (5 September and and 6 September).

Bruno the Bull is a mascot of the Students’ Union and the face of sport at Bedfordshire.

The University took over the space in front of Marks & Spencer with a series of demonstrations and workshops which gave local people the chance to experience life at the University.

A criminal facial reconstruction demonstration from the Psychology department; as well as an ultrasound demonstration from Sports Therapy and a Community Dance Class hosted by the Performing Arts department were just some of the taster sessions on offer over the two days.

The University, which is preparing to receive its next intake of new students at the end of September, still has a limited number of places available for a September 2014 start.

For more information on clearing and course availability check out University of Bedfordshire website: www.beds.ac.uk or call the Clearing hotline on 0800 013 09 25.
