February 8th 2017 - Free screening of “Population Boom”, a well-known nightmarish vision of the future: The Earth's population reaches seven billion.

Dwindling resources, mountains of toxic waste, hunger and climate change-the results of overpopulation? Who says that the world's overpopulated? And who's one too many? Filmmaker Werner Boote travels the globe and invents a completely different question: Who or what is driving this catastrophic vision?

After this short movie, we’ll have a discussion about the issues and dilemmas that it raises and about what we can do individually and together to address this vital issue.

  • Time: 7.30-9.30pm
  • Date: 8 February 2017
