Roisin Kendall, Access Partnership Manager with the University’s Centre for Academic Partnerships, said:

Inspiring the next generation of STEM learners is so important to the University of Bedfordshire. STEM Week celebrates all the amazing courses and opportunities available to learners.

With interactive Mathematics webinars and videos with our STEM academics, there is something for everyone to access and experience this week.

In one of the videos you can even get to meet mini ‘future scientists’, Lola and Esme, who give viewers a tour of the University and showcase some at-home experiments.

Organised by the Centre for Academic Partnerships and designed by STEM academics and students, this week-long virtual campaign aims to showcase how the University of Bedfordshire can best support students to successfully study, graduate and enter a career in STEM.

Over the course of the week, this initiative offers virtual attendees a range of pre-recorded videos and live webinars, where school pupils of all ages can find out about different professional careers in STEM and the variety of courses on offer at Bedfordshire.

By offering STEM Week in virtual form, people will be able to discover STEM from the comfort of their home, school or college and can watch, visit and explore the content again and again.
