Our Luton campus is located right in the heart of the town centre. It boasts our brand-new, seven-storey library, as well as an array of fantastic modern facilities to support each of the courses on offer at the Luton campus.
There's a Moot Court, Business Pods, science laboratories, an industry-standard TV studio, and the Alexon building - a former fashion house - for our art and design students. It also has a Campus Centre, with a café, classrooms and our Students’ Union space and a bar.
Luton town is packed full of cultural diversity. It has plenty of bars and restaurants, an 11-screen cinema, a shopping mall, sports facilities and a community theatre. It also hosts the annual Luton International Carnival and Luton Mela.
Thameslink and Great Northern services connect Luton with Bedford (25 min), London (34 min to St Pancras International; Farringdon; City Thameslink; Blackfriars; and 50 min to London Bridge), East Croydon (64 min), Gatwick Airport (80 min) and Brighton (2 h).
Thameslink serves Luton's three railway stations - Luton Airport Parkway (for London Luton Airport), Luton (this is the closest to the main, University Square campus) and Leagrave.
Luton has some traffic-free routes for cyclists. The town is on Route 6 of the National Cycle Network. A recent addition is the route which runs parallel with the Luton to Dunstable busway.
On campus there is parking for bicycles outside the Park Street entrance, the Campus Centre and the Postgraduate and CPD Centre.
See www.travelluton.co.uk/cycle for more details on routes and maps.
If you are travelling to the Open Day by car, please be aware that the University does not have on campus parking. Being in a town centre location, there are plenty of public car parks all within a short walking distance from the Luton campus, which operate by pay and display.
