Richard Wise teaches media studies, specifically media history and political economy.
He has taught at the University since 1973. Before joining the University of Bedfordshire he was at J Walter Thompson Advertising.
His research interests include multimedia, media ecologies and political economies of the new media.
He is the author of the monograph Multimedia: A Critical Introduction (Routledge: 2001)
Richard is a member of the Media Ecology Association.
