  • Stockwood Park is nationally renowned for its period gardens, leading crafts museums and extensive golfing facilities. Stockwood is also home to the Mossman collection of horse-drawn vehicles
  • Swiss Gardens at Old Warden Park offers an ideal location to chill out and enjoy the ornamental gardens and picturesque architecture
  • Luton Hoo is a Grade 1 listed building, offering a golf course, spa and more than 1,000 acres of parkland and gardens. You can even pop in for a 'Ritz' style afternoon tea with cakes. Not only has the Queen honeymooned here, but Winston Churchill was a regular visitor and Luton Hoo was also used when filming Four Weddings and a Funeral
  • Stopsley Common is located to the north east of Luton, and is the perfect place to enjoy a scenic and leisurely stroll
  • Dunstable Downs, which is the highest point within the East of England, offers outstanding views, and is also a kite flying hotspot
  • Whipsnade Wild Animal Kingdom is one of the largest wildlife conservation centres in Europe. As well as exhibitions its 600 acres is home to 2,500 animals such as tigers, sea lions, penguins and much more
  • Woodside Animal Farm is an award winning farm, leisure park and mini zoo set in seven acres of English countryside in the quiet village of Woodside. You can feed and pet most of the animals
  • Luton Town Football Club is the premier football team for the town of Luton. They currently compete in Conference League and are the only Football League team in Bedfordshire
  • The Galaxy Centre is centrally based within the town centre, offering a cinema, bowling alley, an arcade with American pool tables, a bingo hall and a variety of restaurants
  • The Falconry and Bird of Prey Conservation Centre is located in Warden Park where visitors can have a unique experience interacting with various bird of prey 
  • The Go Ballistic paintball facility is another fun way to spend part of a day out. It is just 14 minutes drive from Luton
