A key skill to be gained from higher education is the willingness to undertake a rational self-assessment and personal planning to help your own personal trajectory.

Through our innovative business scenarios and our practice weeks we will help you get to know yourself better as a person; reinforcing your strengths and addressing weaknesses. As part of this process we will help you focus on your own “personal brand”, your own “strategic mission statement” and guide you through the more technical aspects of CV writing, applications for graduation positions and techniques to make an impact at interview.

Portfolio experience

Through workshops you will have the opportunity to make measured responses to genuine business issues which affect organisations on the local, national and international level.

Our close association with both local and national business gives you considerable opportunity to not only undertake relevant analysis but also to hone your skills in the “art of the presentation” to experienced business executives.

By building a portfolio of skills within the classroom setting we are able to give you a better understanding of what employers are looking for in terms of skill sets in new graduates.

The opportunity to undertake work placements and extended Sandwich placements gives you the opportunity to place your academic understanding directly into the employment environment. This can enhance your approach to the development of your major project which can reflect your own working experiences or consider a business problem from a theoretical perspective.
