Case study - Bell Packaging
Marketing intern
"We decided to appoint a newly qualified person into the business who could take an overview of our current marketing practices and help compile a prospective client database.
The intern’s major responsibility was to further develop our potential client database. This was aided by full product training and also store visits to see both our own and competitors' packaging in action.
From these visits we decided to target a number of industries and the intern conducted research into these industries, identified suitable companies within those industries, ascertained (where possible) the target person within the company and sent a mailshot complete with letter and specific samples.
The intern also worked to increase our profile in the market using social media.
I would be happy to recommend Recruitment Services at the University of Bedfordshire to other companies. Thomas Dolby, the graduate we appointed has made a valuable contribution to the business."
