The fair trade label means an organisation such as www.fairtrade.org.uk has certified that farmers and manufacturers follow the fair trade standards The organisation audits the product's supply chain to ensure fair trade prices.
The University holds Fairtrade Status since 2012
All the coffee served at the Beds SU venue The Metro Bar & Kitchen is Fairtrade certified.
