At the Postgraduate level we run highly successful specialist and generalist Masters programmes for good honours graduates from computing and non-computing degree courses, respectively.
The specialist programme consists of MSc Computer Science and MSc Computer and Internet Applications, and the generalist programme offers MSc Computing and IT and MSc Internet Technologies.
In addition the department in conjunction with the School of Media, Arts & Design offers a multi-disciplinary specialist MSc award in Computer Animation. Each course is available for part-time evening study.
Our facilities including the computing laboratories are the envy of older universities in the UK, having expanded by more than 100% over the last 4 years and occupying purpose-designed facilities on the ground and first floor of the main building, Park Square. Computers are replaced every 3 years and provide up-to-date software environments for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We've invested hundred of thousands of pounds in our facilities. So, from animation and robotics to online security and database management tools, our new state-of-the-art computer labs will stand up to the most rigorous of tests.
