Faculty of Education, Sport & Tourism

The Faculty of Education, Sport and Tourism is based at the Bedford campus and whilst we have academic roots that go back to 1882 ‘we are young and vigorous’ and enjoy a proven track record of rich learning experiences coupled with exceptional teaching, research and a graduate employment rate of 95%.

Our students come from diverse social and cultural backgrounds; some local, others from all over the UK and increasingly overseas. Many come to us after a break from full-time education. This makes the Faculty a exciting place be for students and staff and helps us to ‘evolve and develop.’

We work closely with our ‘partners’, who share our commitment to high quality training to ensure all who teach, support and develop young people can play a key role in raising standards and improving their life chances. This reflects in our excellent reputation in the field of education, scholarly enquiry and professional practice.
