Distance learning at the University of Bedfordshire

If you’re looking for a cost-effective, convenient way to study for your degree then distance learning is for you.

This mode of study provides you with the following benefits.

  • Flexible study options – with distance learning most studying is via the web so you can choose to learn when it’s convenient for you.
  • Strong support – we provide outstanding support for our students and distance learning is no exception. You will have 24/7 access to Bedfordshire Resources for Education Online (BREO), our virtual learning environment that you can access from your computer or mobile phone. You can also access our award-winning Student Information Desk (SiD) at evenings and weekends as well as having regular online support from your course tutor. Should you wish to discuss something face-to-face, if you live in the Eastern regions, you can pop in to one of our support hubs in Milton Keynes or at one of our partner colleges.
  • High-quality teaching – many of our teaching staff have extensive industry experience and will be able to help you link your learning to your work experience.
  • Boost your career – there’s no doubt that further study can open up opportunities for progression in your existing career or even help you gain the knowledge and skills needed for a new job.
