The University of Bedfordshire has taken to the road to give local people the chance to experience life at the University.

The University is running a series of community roadshows over August in shopping centres across the region including: The Mall in Luton; Harpur Centre in Bedford; Weston Favell Shopping Centre in Northampton; intu in Milton Keynes; and Brent Cross in London.

The University can also be found at Luton’s Summer in the Sun taking place in St George’s Square.

Experts from the University will be on hand to talk through any questions people might have about going to university, university life and courses they can study.

Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions about student finance and get advice on drafting a personal statement for their UCAS application.

Young people will also get the chance to get dressed up in graduation gear and meet Bruno the Bull the mascot of the Students’ Union and the face of sport at Bedfordshire.

The University, which is preparing to receive its next intake of new students at the end of September, still has a number of places available for a September 2015 start.

Courses with availability include, Sports Therapy, Business Studies, Education Studies, Biomedical Science, Marketing and English Literature plus many others.
