Graduate Transition Programme

Graduate Transition Programme

We understand that transitioning from university to the world of work can be daunting, which is why we've developed a 6-week Graduate Transition Programme. You will be supported to develop the skills and knowledge required for the world of work, which will help you build confidence in pursuing the career you want after university (eligibility criteria apply, see below).

Starting in June 2024, the Graduate Transition Programme will include:

  • Employability Workshops: You will have access a range of employability workshops which will support you with how to apply for jobs and/or further study, show you how to pursue self-employment, and bespoke sessions designed to help you explore your career options.
  • Paid Live Projects: You will have the opportunity to work with other students on the Graduate Transition Programme, to complete a live project within the University of Bedfordshire. You will work as a team to complete a range of tasks that will help develop your skills and experience for your CV.
  • Support from the Careers and Employability Service: You will receive personalised support from the Careers and Employability team who will help you identify your strengths, support you with exploring your careers options, and help you prepare for applications and interviews.
  • A fast -track interview to the Graduate Advancement Placement! By completing the Graduate Transition Programme you will be fast tracked to interview for a role as part of our Graduate Advancement Placement
