Career Changers Evening – Explore a Future in Teaching

Considering a change of career? Thinking about becoming a teacher?

The University of Bedfordshire’s teacher education team has extensive experience supporting career-changers into teaching – in fact, many of us were career changers ourselves!

Whether you're just starting to explore teaching as a career option or have already decided it's the path for you, join us to find out more about life as a teacher, the structure of our teacher training courses, and the support you'll receive from the University.

We offer teacher training across a range of subjects, including STEM and creative industries specialisms, among others. You can explore the full list of courses we offer here.

The event will take place at our Bedford campus. It will begin with a general talk about teacher training, followed by subject-specific Q&A sessions where you can meet tutors and ask questions relevant to your chosen subject area.

Tutors will be available to answer any questions and guide you through the application process – all are welcome!
