You will have the opportunity to undertake work experience during your time at the University of Bedfordshire. Each undergraduate or postgraduate course provides you with the opportunity to complete a work placement. Settings for work experience are varied in both context and location.

Our students have completed work experience at:

• Nurseries;
• Infant schools;
• Lower schools;
• Middle schools;
• Junior schools;
• Primary schools;
• Upper schools;
• Secondary schools;
• Further Education (FE) colleges;
• Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools.

They have also broadened their experience through working in settings such as the following:

• Museums;
• Children’s hospitals;
• Units which support children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD);
• Charities supporting children varying needs.
