Portfolio Leader for Foundation Year

I joined the university in September 2020 and as a Senior Tutor in the Department of International Business, Marketing and Tourism. I teach on the Undergraduate Foundation Year units, and I am currently the Unit Co-ordinator for the Developing a Business Radar unit and the Course Co-ordinator for the Foundation Year at all of our campuses.

Prior to joining the university, I worked in several Further Education colleges as a Course Manager in both Travel & Tourism and Business. I have also previously worked in a Quality role as an Advanced Teaching & Learning Practitioner

Prior to starting my teaching career, I spent many years traveling the UK as an IT Trainer for a software company. The best part of my job role is my time in the classroom engaging with students and supporting them to be successful on the Foundation Year.

• PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) – University of Greenwich
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
