About the course

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship meets the education and training needs of professional managers in private, public or third sector organisations of all sizes. It develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to manage complexity and deliver impact at a strategic and/ or operational level, and to take management and leadership responsibility for setting and delivering organisational objectives through a wide range of functions.

Available from 2023, the University of Bedfordshire’s Chartered Manager degree apprenticeship provides the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for effective management of large and small organisations.

The programme combines the BSc Business Management honours degree with CMI Chartered Manager status.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are Level 3 qualification or relevant work experience for applicants aged 21 or over.

Qualifications

Successful apprentices will achieve the BSc (Hons) Business Management degree and full chartered membership of the CMI, incorporating vocational and academic elements.

English and Maths to Level 2 are included if not held at entry.

Fee - Companies with a wage bill less than £3m will just pay £1100 over four years (or £275 per annum), this is because the government funds 95% of the full fee. If you are a levy-payer then this apprenticeship will be £22,000 from your levy.As a business of any size, you can also use the Manage apprenticeship service to apply for funding from large businesses that want to fund 100% of your apprenticeship training and assessment costs.
