"The course enabled me to develop and build a strong and broad skill set that I have needed to pursue a career in the dance sector. From developing technique, performance and creative skills, to understanding how the dance sector is structured, how to get funding and lead projects. But most importantly the course enabled me to find individuality which was what I was looking for after finishing college, I was so used to being a number. I wanted to be my own person and creative and the Dance course at Beds enabled me to become that. I’ve found benefits within my career through being an individual."

The course combined complete professionalism together with a supportive and caring environment. When choosing which university I was to go too, I was astounded by the impressive facilities that the University of Bedfordshire had to offer. Course of Study: BA (Hons) Radio and Audio
"Being a student manager at Radio LaB taught me so much in what it takes to be in a working radio station environment every day. I learnt so much from adding a lot of new production to the station's output, running and promoting the station on different initiatives and platforms, presenting live radio shows and understanding what worked and what didn't work. It was a great place to learn all my skills and a safe place to make mistakes and learn from them with the incredible support of Terry Lee."

Current Job Role: Social Creative & Copywriter at McCann
Course of Study: BA (Hons) Graphic Design
“Since graduating in 2018 I've worked in a few different marketing roles and now work as a Social Creative and Copywriter at McCann in Manchester. Something that would have been an absolute dream when I was back answering briefs at 2am in my halls! I've even been to Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity to compete for the UK in the Young Lions.
I still talk about my university experience all the time and carry the tools I learnt with me throughout my work. The real-life skills were immediately transferable, from the speed at which we now have to work to the presentations and professional practice experience. We always worked with briefs that mimic the ones I work with now and the lecturers were always pushing us - just like my creative director does! We were taught such a range of skills too, like graphic design and project management, so now in practice I've got so many more strings to my bow.
When I left Uni I felt fully ready to tackle the world of work. It's really helped me to get where I am and thrive along the way.“

“In 2022, I graduated from Beds with a first-class degree in Interior Architecture. My university experience was fantastic. I learned new skills, gained confidence in pursuing my goals, and broadened my creative horizons to infinity. It was also a difficult time because I had to work from home for most of my second year owing to pandemic. However, with the assistance of my helpful tutors, I was able to acquire good results and learn as much as possible about the subject I was studying. Current Job Role: Senior Designer at Goldsmiths University and founder of 'Create and Grow Lab'
Course of Study: BA (Hons) Graphic Design and MA Art & Design
"After earning my Graphic Design degree from the University of Bedfordshire in 2018, I was immediately offered a role at Hallgarten and Novum Wines. Here, I developed a diverse skill set in graphic design, from print to digital, menu design psychology and even obtained a diploma in wine and spirits (WSET Lv2). It allowed me to collaborate with high-profile clients, including Ascot Races, Jon Bon Jovi's team and other restaurants around the UK.
My time at Bedfordshire wasn’t just about academics. I also worked in a 5-star hotel for several years, an experience that enriched my design perspective. The nuances I learned in hospitality, like understanding customer needs and empathy became integral to my design approach.
My passion for learning led me to pursue an MA, where I delved into UX/UI design. My dissertation highlighted the psychological benefits of doodling, demonstrating its role in stress reduction, memory improvement, and overall mental health.
My background in chemical engineering from Romania adds a unique touch to my design work. It encourages me to blend creativity with a problem-solving mindset. This balance caught the attention of Huawei in London, leading to a pivotal role as their lead designer. There, I contributed to significant campaigns and honed my leadership skills. Seeking a fresh perspective, I joined Goldsmiths University as a Senior Designer. Alongside this, I founded "Create and Grow Lab", aiming to elevate the branding of the hospitality industry and other entrepreneur businesses.
Reflecting on my journey, I recognise the invaluable foundation laid by the University of Bedfordshire. The lessons from my mentors there have been instrumental. I share my story hoping to inspire others to chase their aspirations with determination, heart and PASSION.
Always LEARN and stay Curious!"

Current Job Role: Senior Creative Producer at U DOX
Course of Study: BA (Hons) Art & Design
After graduating in 2013 I was awarded a year-long scholarship at FABRICA, Benetton’s creative research centre in Treviso, Italy. The work from my residency was nominated for the Magnum and London Photo Graduate Award and won the Daniel Blau Gallery 5 Under 30 Award. I then went to intern at Wallpaper* Magazine, then moved onto Dezeen, before working at the Design Museum where I oversaw the photographic output of their publications - a highlight of that time was working with the architectural photographer Hélène Binet, the best mate of the late Zaha Hadid, and a incredible artist in her own right. I then worked in Counter-Terrorism, in the propaganda department.
In 2019 I moved to Montreal, Canada to join Concordia University MFA programme in Studio Arts on a full scholarship and won the Concordia University Out-of-Province Award. In 2020 I was awarded Concordia University Fine Arts Graduate Travel Grant. After moving back to London I worked on several publications photographing Terrance Conran’s home and collection and most recently worked with Ai Weiwei, photographing his works for his publication Making Sense.
Now at U DOX, a creative company where I’m a Senior Creative Producer - we work on campaigns with a focus on street and sportswear, shoots have taken me to New York, LA, Paris, Madrid and throughout the UK. In my most recent campaign we captured Stormzy, Jude Bellingham, Joy Crookes and Sam Fender - the campaign went out on billboards around the world. Alongside this, I’ve continued to work on my thesis and will graduate from my MFA in Winter 2024 under the guidance of Professor Geneviève Cadieux. My debut artist monograph, CRASH, published by Edition Taube, will coincide with my graduation.
