Dr Muhammad Abdullah
Lecturer in Accounting and Finance
I have more than seven years of academic experience of teaching accounting and finance subjects for a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at higher education institutions in the UK. I hold a PhD in Business and Management (Finance), fellowship of Advanced Higher Education (FHEA) and an MSc in International Banking and Finance from the University of Salford, Manchester.
Prior to joining the University of Bedfordshire, I have worked at the University of Ulster from 2018 - 2021 and the University of Salford, Manchester, from 2014 - 2018. I have taught a wide range of accounting and finance subjects and supervised placement students.
My principal research interests lie in the field of asset pricing and investment analysis. I am an expert user of STATA, R, EViews, SPSS, Zotero and Endnote. I have extensive experience of working with large datasets using financial databases such as Thomson Reuters Datastream and Bloomberg.
