Free English lessons with trainee tutors
At Bedford Campus
The University of Bedfordshire offers free English language lessons for all adult non-native speakers of English.
The classes are part of our teacher training courses and are taught by our student teachers.
Due to the campus closure, classes will be delivered online and will start on Tuesday 16 February 2021.

How do I sign up for the free online English lessons?
PLEASE NOTE: to register and join our free online English classes, please send an email to the course coordinator:

We can only accept up to 15 students for each class,
acceptance is on a first-come-first-served basis.
No enrolment fee and no Student ID needed.
Who are the free English lessons for?
The English language classes are suitable for all adult, non-native speakers of English who would like to improve their English language skills.
Who can attend the free English lessons?
Anyone above the age of 18 can attend these free English language classes. You don't need to have a student ID card.
Where are the free English lessons held?
Classes are normally held at the University of Bedfordshire, Bedford campus, Polhill Avenue, Bedford, MK41 9EA. Currently the classes are ONLINE due to COVID-19.
