Dawn Daley-James

Senior Lecturer in Physical Education

Dawn Daley-James

My love of sport began in early childhood watching my father as a professional footballer playing for Coventry City and Derby County Football Clubs. I remain passionate about sport and am committed to getting the best out of children through PE.

My teaching career spans more than 30 years and covers every age group from reception to GCSE classes. I have continued to maintain good links with local schools in order to promote PE initiatives and develop partner schools for students.

I like to inspire my students and am always pleased when I have converted those with least confidence.
