Teaching Expertise

  • Course Leader of KS2/3 PGCE, Partnership Cluster Manager, Unit leader of Professional Practice
  • Co-ordinate KS2/3 curriculum delivery, placements and QA students in their middle school placements
  • Unit Leader of Professional Practice on the Secondary PGCE programme and support other staff in delivering high quality sessions
  • Support staff in their Partnership Quality Assurance role in schools

Research Interests

  • Improving secondary Teacher Education through implementation of e-portfolio
  • Developing innovative partnerships between Universities and schools
  • Collaborative work with colleagues on an evaluation of a counselling project in local middle schools. Findings were presented at two consecutive BERA conferences (2008 and 2009)
