Television Studio
Equipped to the latest broadcasting standards with HD multi-cameras and location recording equipment.
Radio LaB
Our award-winning, on-site radio station, Radio LaB 97.1 FM, where students present or produce radio shows.
Green Screen Room
Our 360° green screen room with motion capture suit allows you to add visual effects in post-production.
Broadcast TV Studio & Newsroom
This facility is dedicated to news programming, featuring a TV set with lighting and two cameras; a radio news booth; and a transmission gallery.
Editing Suites
Fully equipped digital video-editing suites including Apple Macs with the latest editing software.
Beds TV
You can work on Beds TV, our student television station, which incorporates the sports channel Bulls TV.
Professional & Studio Theatres
A 260-seat professional theatre with industry-standard lighting, and an 80-seat studio theatre.
Dance Studios
Four fully sprung dance studios equipped with ballet barres, mirrors, audio playback, internet and projection.
Dressing Rooms
Large dressing rooms with ensuite showers and mirrored dressing stations, ideal for getting ready before a show.
Media Make-up Studio
A space to learn the craft and techniques used in specialist media make-up and character design.
Fashion Studio
Expansive studio space with cutting tables; digital pattern cutting; and industrial and specialist sewing machines.
3D Workshop
Our new 3D workshop is equipped with a laser cutter, 3D printer, digital pattern cutting, CNC machine, and a variety of saws, drills and other tools.
Photography Studio
The studio is equipped with a built-in infinity curve, backdrops and professional lighting. It allows you to mix natural and flash-light or shoot completely under artificial light.
Darkroom
A spacious black and white darkroom with enlargers able to develop various formats.
Guildford Street Press
The School’s in-house design studio, run for and by graduates and students.
Print Room
Print on a range of materials including textile, wood and paper. Extensive screen-printing facilities including materials for analogue printing techniques.
Stop-motion Suite
Create industry-standard animations using three-point lighting, Dragonframe software, cameras, C-stands and coloured gels.
Music Room
A well-equipped music room with music-production equipment and a range of instruments.
Libraries
Arts & Creative Industries have a dedicated floor in the Luton Campus library, featuring a wide range of books and magazines, with more added to the collection every year.
