Juby Varghese
Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing
I am a senior lecturer for adult nursing at the University of Bedfordshire. I qualified as a nurse back in India and later completed my Master’s in nursing.
In India, I have worked in community settings as well as acute settings. I developed a board game to educate First aid to school children in Mumbai (India).
I came to the UK in 2013 and worked as a staff nurse in a nursing home after which I joined the NHS as a critical care nurse.
I joined UOB in 2020 and enjoy adopting a creative and innovative approach to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I believe that ‘As a Nurse every day you will touch a life, or a life will touch yours!’
