Psychology and Offending Behaviour

Staff working under this theme include psychologists with years of experience in forensic settings and academics interested in cognitive and interpersonal processes related to offending.

Work by the research group focuses on particular topics such areas as eyewitness memory, memory distortion and accusations of child abuse, the recognition of criminals' faces, and the impact of cyberstalking.

Staff have been involved in collaborations with colleagues from universities across the UK and Europe such as University of Central Lancashire, City University, and University of Maastricht.
