Senior lecturer in Accounting and Finance

Dr. Hamza El Kaddouri joined the University of Bedfordshire in 2019 as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining the University of Bedfordshire, he worked at King's College London, University of Orleans (France) and University of Burgundy (France). Hamza has 12 years' experience in higher education; he has designed and taught a wide range of modules in Accounting and Finance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and supervised many dissertation students.

Hamza’s research investigated the transformation of governance system of French Universities after the implementation of legal audit. His transdisciplinary work connects corporate governance, new management tools, New Public Management and institutional theory.

His current research project investigates the relationship between corporate governance characteristics and the extent of carbon emission disclosures within listed companies.
