Senior Tutor and Teaching and Practice Coordinator – Business Management
I am the on-site Academic Lead for the management and delivery of the University of Bedfordshire Business School’s study hub activities. I proactively engage with partner institutes in delivering quality control, student, and staff experience across multiple campuses. I regularly manage and review risk register and ensure that appropriate mitigating plans and actions are in place in partnership with colleagues within Professional Services Directorates.
Additionally, I represent the Faculty to develop ideas for the Vice Chancellor’s Office’s (VCO) Communications team to explore and action – ensuring all areas of the University are covered by internal and external comms.
I bring in extensive experience spanning 16 years and three different sectors. Before joining the University of Bedfordshire, I have worked with leading Russell Group Universities (King’s College and Queen Mary University of London) and before that – with the London Business School in managerial roles, facilitating and collaborating with academics and students on varied strategic projects.
I also bring knowledge and insight from the Higher Education’s private sector, and the hospitality sector. In addition to this, I worked as an HR Specialist with The British Army Reserves, and hold professional certifications in PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma and Mental Health First Aid.
