Summary of information on UK/EU Fees

  • The full-time standard postgraduate fee for a taught Master's course is £7,840 (AcYr 2020-21).

Fee schedules for full-time and part-time courses

The University reserves the right to increase tuition fees by no more than inflation.

Government-backed postgraduate student loan

Loans for Master’s and Research (Doctoral) degrees in the UK are now available in all subject areas for those studying full time, part time and distance-learning Masters courses.

The loan is non-means tested and paid directly to the students’ UK bank account in instalments over the length of the course.

Sponsored students

If your fees are being paid by an employer you will need to bring to registration a letter signed by an appropriately authorised individual, on letter headed paper, containing the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your year of study
  • The amount or percentage of the fee being paid
  • Invoice address if different

Please note that a new letter will be required for each year of study.

PGCE programmes

You may be eligible for a tuition fee loan/grant from the Student Loans Company (SLC). If you wish to apply to the SLC you should do so as soon as possible following your offer of a place at the University.

Part-time students

Part-time students will be charged a proportion of the full-time fee, according to how much you are studying.

Research Degrees
