Postgraduate Taught Degree Alumni Scholarship (Home/EU Students)
The University of Bedfordshire values its alumni and is proud to offer a scholarship worth 20% of your fees for postgraduate on-campus master’s courses to those who have successfully completed an undergraduate Honours degree from:
- The University of Bedfordshire
- DMU’s Bedford campus
- The University of Luton
This scholarship applies to both full-time and part-time Master’s courses and is valid for the 2024/25 academic year.
Research Degrees (MRes, Phil and PHd)
The 20% alumni scholarship also applies to the first year of fees for a research degree for University of Bedfordshire Alumni.

1st year full-time students are not eligible for a Career Development Loan but can apply for Student Finance

Am I eligible?
To qualify for a Career Development Loan you must be:
- 18 or over
- Be a British citizen
- Have been living in the UK for at least 3 years before your course starts
- Intending to work in the UK, European Union (EU), or European Economic Area (EEA) when you have finished your course

Social Work bursary for full-time postgraduate courses
This bursary is available to students ordinarily resident in England, studying on an approved full-time postgraduate course. The bursary consists of a non-income assessed basic grant and income-assessed maintenance grant and allowances for certain living costs.
