Be a PAL leader

Peer Assisted Learning - PAL sessions are weekly sessions run by second and third year students for first year students, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, and get information, from other students that have "been there and done that".

Not only can PAL leaders give you advice about your course, they may be able to give you some useful hints and tips about the University – they’re basically someone that you can speak to who has been in your shoes and knows what it feels like!

In your second and third year, you have the opportunity to become a PAL leader - something that 98% of PAL leaders said improved their student experience!

Being a PAL leader enables you to improve many transferable skills including communication, presentation and organisational skills to name a few! As well as enhancing your CV, it can also provide an excellent opportunity to network with other students you may not have come into contact with otherwise!
