Academic Liaison Librarians

ALLs work with each faculty within the University to ensure that the resources you need for your course are available and easily accessible to you. They can show you, both individually and within small groups, how to search for the resources you need to help you with your research and/or assignments as well as providing advice on topics such as plagiarism.

Not only can the library resources help with your assignments, but you can also use them to keep up to date on issues, news, developments surrounding your profession and subject. They can give you that wider context that employers are often looking for. You can also keep up to date with local, national and international news stories and events, the issues that are important to you.

Computer Skills Trainers

The CST team can help you with using Microsoft Office Word, Excel or PowerPoint in your studies. They provide help guides, training workshops, help guides and individual or group support depending on your needs.

Professional and Academic Development

The PAD team are here to help you enhance your writing, maths and study skills. You can meet with a member of the team whenever you want to discuss how to approach an assignment or discuss your assessment feedback.
