2011 Conference

University of Bedfordshire Conference 2011

'Outcomes and Impacts'

Date: 5-6 July 2011 (2 day event)

Venue: Luton campus, Luton, LU1 3JU.

This year's conference theme, 'Outcomes and Impacts', provides an opportunity for colleagues to share the excellent work you are undertaking in 'teaching and learning', 'research and enterprise', and projects, communities and resources. The Conference is a great opportunity to show both focus in an area and boundary-breaking work.

The theme highlights implementation of strategies and practices across the University that have meaningful outcomes and impacts for students, employers, researchers, teachers and others.

For presenters and delegates, the UoB Conference 2011 provides a range of opportunities: plenary keynotes and panels; parallel session presentations and discussion; a poster exhibition/market place; and plenty of time to network.

We look forward to a successful conference involving a wider range of staff and research students, perhaps topping last year's 260 delegates. We also intend to extend the base built from the successful combination of the Teaching and Learning Symposium and the Research Poster Exhibition. (See our growing Archive for previous events' material.)

Whether you're contributing to a session or joining in the discussion, we look forward to seeing you at the Conference.
