Mandatory training
What the students have covered prior to placement
The students have completed a full day of manual handling training covering both the theoretical aspects of manual handling and the practical aspects.
The training was delivered by a MH trainer and practicing neurological physiotherapist and was specific to successful and safe therapeutic manual handling techniques in practice.
They have also received the online BLS training (see list below) and attended practical (face to face) BLS training.
