Dr Mousa Jawasreh
Tutor in Health and Social Care
I worked directly with refugees and asylum seekers in Jordan for over three years where I developed an interested in refugees’ mental health and quality of life.
This became the focus of my PhD in Social Work and Social Care from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021.
I found that most refugees want to work and improve their situation. They are worried about their quality of life which impacts their mental health and wellbeing.
I worked as tutor in 2014 in Irbid National University in Jordan. I enjoyed adopting a creative and innovative approach to teaching at undergraduate level in the Nursing department at Irbid National University.
