Pavlos Kasdovasilis

Lecturer in Psychology

Pavlos KasdovasilisMy name is Pavlos and I am a Lecturer in Psychology! My background is in Health Psychology and Medicine. After spending approximately 10 years working within the industry (e.g., Charities, Private Hospitals, Mental Health Wards, NHS) I have made the decision to work within academia in order to train the new therapists and give them an insight into how the industry works.

I still work as a consultant within the industry with various hospitals and private healthcare organisations assessing their services and providing input in order to improve the overall quality of services offered to service users or staff members.

My research interests lie in exploring lived experiences of staff members within the healthcare sector as well as service users and/or patients.

Currently, I am working towards my Stage 2 accreditation in Health Psychology with the British Psychological Society.
