NHS Bursaries 2012 - Update

NHS Student Bursaries would like to inform new students who have not yet submitted the required supporting evidence for their application in the Bursary Online Support System (BOSS):

"Your NHS student bursary application needs supporting evidence sending in. Log onto your BOSS account and click ApplicationConfirmationEmail (on right).

Failure to submit your evidence will result in NHS Student Bursaries being unable to assess your bursary entitlement and make any payments due. If you have submitted this evidence already, please ignore this message."

Funding for Nursing, Midwifery and ODP students

All students enrolled on one of the following pre-registration courses

  • Nursing
  • Midwifery
  • Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)

will receive a £1,000 non income assessed grant. Additionally, eligible students can apply for a means tested maintenance grant. NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA)
